Late night food delivery services are in vogue these days. With office hours running late on weekdays and late night parties on weekends, such outlets are a savior for late night hunger pangs and unlike other late night delivery outlets, The Night Factory delivers 24×7, in the day too.
The menu is designed very aptly to cater a wide spectrum with nothing fancy but basic dishes from diverse cuisines. You name it and they have it. Indian, Continental, Chinese starters & mains, pizzas, pastas, burgers, sandwiches and desserts. The menu can get confusing if you’re a foodie like me, since there’s no shortage of options. So playing safe, I went for Indian.
Coming to the packaging, everything was packed in food grade plastic containers, sealed with tapes (courtesy Zomato) but the carry bag was very flimsy and I was dreaded carrying it to the dinning area. The delivery was however very much on time and the food was delivered warm and fresh.
I Had:

Rogni Soya Chaap: Being a not so common vegetarian, this is undoubtedly my favorite here. Roganjosh is traditionally a Kashmiri meat based preparation with rogan meaning oil and josh referring to the chilies. The texture of the chaap was perfect, lightly crisp on the outside, soft & chewey inside with a spicy, rich & oily gravy, with a perfect balance of flavours. The oil is on the higher side but that’s how roganjosh is made. This one is a must try for vegetarians.
Paneer Lababdar: This was another dish that I liked. With big paneer tikka chunks in a luscious onion, tomato & cashew based gravy, infused with spices, paneer lababdar is a must for paneer lovers. It had perfectly balanced flavors with a smoky after taste and was mildly spiced but the oil was on a little higher side.
Dal Makhni: This was the ususal dal makhni with a creamy and thick texture with lots of cream and butter. The flavours were balanced and it wasn’t spicy, however it had a strange after taste which I didn’t like. I know it’s a must in Indian but I would recommend Avoiding it.

Hyderabadi Veg Biryani with Burani Raita: The biryani was also nicely prepared with perfectly cooked rice infused with saffron, lots of veggies and some paneer chunks cooked in a rich, spicy masala. The flavours were coming through and were perfectly balanced, however it lacked nuts & fried onions. The burani raita which came along was a simple raita with some coriander, tomatoes & cucumber and not tempered with garlic.

Indian Breads: I tried tandoori roti, butter naan, lachha parantha and ajwaini masala parantha. The breads were soft and not chewey. I had butter naan and lachha parantha with the paneer and chaap. I had the masala ajwaini parantha with the dal but the ajwain taste was too overpowering for my palette. Naan and lachha parantha are my recommendations.

The food delivered by the night food factory was well balanced with flavours and light on salt, however the oil was used on a little higher side. The quality of ingredients used was decent and the food was fresh and aromatic. The packaging was decent too and the food was delivered on time. The Night Food Factory is surely a must try for their value for money food with large portions at fairly decent prices and their 24×7 delivery adds up one more reason to try. So, try them for your dinner tonight!
