Away from the crowd of the city, Trellis Garden is a peaceful and calm place to spend your time along with some good food. Trellis Garden is primarily a banquet, with a restaurant on the first floor by the name of Attic. The restaurant’s name comes from it’s placing under the slanted roof.
With large windows, lots of use of wood, chandeliers, a fireplace on one side and a bar on the other side, the interiors of attic have a British vibe. They have an outdoor seating too. Coming to the menu, it has something for everyone. Mexican, Italian, Indian, American, they have a little of everything.
I Tried:
Drinks & Soups (4/5): We tried the Minestrone Soup which was fresh and tangy tomato based soup with lots of fresh veggies. I tried the Mont blanc shake, which had a rich vanilla flavour. The Ab-soy-lutely almond shake was equally refreshing with a robust flavor of roasted almonds and banana.

Indian Starters (4/5): We tried their Basil paneer tikka, Aminabadi khumb and Dahi ke kebab. The basil paneer tikka is totally recommended, with lots of freshness of basil, this tikka is something you won’t find everywhere. The aminabadi khumb was paneer stuffed mushroom tikkas cooked in a spicy marinade. You’ll love it if you love spice. The Dahi ke kebab were however a let down as they were too dry.

Italian & Mexican Starters (4.25/5): We tried their Tuscany style grilled cottage cheese and Kidney beans & veggies quesadilla. The steaming hot grilled cottage cheese was a total bliss in this chilly weather. With a tangy tomato gravy coating chunks of grilled cottage cheese and peppers and an aftertaste of pepper, served on pita, this was a perfect warm and hearty dish. The quesadilla was prepared perfectly as well with lots of cheese, veggies, kidney beans in a fresh grilled tortilla, served with some salsa.

Entrees (4.25/5): We tried their Spaghetti aglio olio pepperoncino, which is a nice and light pasta tossed in olive oil, garlic and chili.

Indian Main Course (4.75/5): Their Indian mains were the highlight. Perfectly cooked, well balanced with spices and seasoning, with rich flavors. Tried their Dal makhani, Paneer butter masala, Subz biryani, Pudina lachha parantha and butter naan. The dal makhani was rich and creamy and the paneer was sweet and tangy with hints of spice and cream. The biryani had a lovely aroma of saffron with lots of veggies and chunks of paneer. The breads were soft and fresh.

Desserts (4.5/5): The desserts were equally diverse as their menu. We tried Affogato, Kesar phirni and Baklava with ice cream. The Affogato had a strong coffee flavor with vanilla ice cream, topped with almonds. The Kesari phirni was creamy, with flavor of saffron coming through and light on sugar. The baklava was flaky with a pistachio filling, served with vanilla ice cream.

With calm and soothing environment and delectable food, though a little away from the city, Attic at Trellis Garden is surely worth your try. Their Indian mains took my heart. The only thing lagging was some drinks which were unavailable. The prices and the portion sizes are perfect and the service was quick too.
