Launched in 2019, Pune’s homegrown pizzeria Circle of Crust made its way to the city beautiful. One of the standout features of the brand is their focus on accommodating customers with different dietary preferences and restrictions. Their DIY pizza option includes six artisan bases, such as vegetable-based ones with 60% vegetables and a whole wheat base enriched with flax seeds, as well as multigrain and gluten-free options. This range of choices indicates a commitment to health-conscious and inclusive dining experiences.
Apart from the DIY pizzas, Circle of Crust also offers the crowd-favorite pan pizzas and it’s safe to say that there is a wide range of options for vegetarian customers too, from Paneer Tikka, Paneer Makhani to the Exotica. The menu also includes a range of lasagnas, garlic breads, nuggets, mocktails and milkshakes to compliment the pizzas.
Things I tried:
Drinks (4/5): They are having a nice variety of options to go well with the pizzas. Be it cold coffee, mocktails, milkshakes or iced tea, they have something which everyone would love. I tried their Black Forest Milkshake and Hazelnut Cold Coffee which were both refreshing and a good cut through for the spiciness of the pizzas. Out of the two, their cold coffee, in particular, is a standout and something worth repeating.

Sides (4/5): The sides at the Circle of Crust are a good start for a lovely supper. The menu boasts of lasagna, garlic breads and nuggets to make your meal wholesome. I tried their Cheesy Garlic Rolls which were rolls of fresh and soft garlic bread stuffed with cheese. I also tried their Jalapeno Cheese Poppers which were cheesy with the kick of Jalapeno here and there. Both sides were well-prepared, but I somehow preferred the Cheesy Garlic Rolls more.
Pizza (4.5/5): Circle of Crust’s main game, their pizzas are surely something that won’t disappoint you. From the crust, the sauce, toppings and cheese, everything is well prepared and assembled to create a symphony of flavors appeasing to the palate. Going for their popular off beat toppings, I tried their Indian meat inspired Almost Keema pizza. This pizza is a must try if you love your pizzas spicy. It features a base of their in house sauce, topped with Indian spiced soya keema, some veggies, which was elevated by the kick from green chilly, all generously covered with cheese. I also tried their Tex-Mex pizza which tasted equally good with a topping of fresh vegetables – olives, mushrooms, jalapeno, peppers and cherry tomatoes. This pizza is a great choice for those who prefer a lighter, vegetarian option.

Desserts (4.5/5): The restaurant features limited but indulgent desserts to end your meal on a sweet note. Not going for the classic choco-lava cake, I decided to opt for the other two – Blueberry Cheesecake and Tiramisu, both layered desserts served in cute cups. The blueberry cheesecake has a buttery base, topped with layers of subtle cream cheese and a refreshing blueberry compote. The Tiramisu is equally delightful, with layers of coffee-soaked sponge layered with vanilla cream and topped with cocoa. Both the desserts are irresistible and surely not worth a miss.
